As part of this initiative, Orimattilan Sanomat has begun an ambitious project to modernize its editorial system. The newspaper is upgrading to the eNeo browser-based editorial system, developed by Anygraaf, a long-term system partner. The transition to eNeo is part of a broader goal to optimize system architecture and streamline workflows across the newspaper.
Additionally, the newspaper is enhancing its operational capabilities by replacing its existing advertisement and subscription management systems with Anygraaf’s AProfit and CProfit web portals. These solutions integrate fully with the new editorial system, enabling a seamless, more efficient workflow.
The update will also include the introduction of the NeoDirect web publishing system, designed to improve online services and enhance the reader experience. This update responds to growing demand for diverse reader services and the adoption of advanced advertising solutions in the industry.
Orimattilan Sanomat’s collaboration with Ylä-Satakunnan Sanomalehti Oy as part of an independent local newspaper network allows for pooled resources and shared expertise. Ylä-Satakunta will act as the main system administrator, providing critical infrastructure and support to enhance the network’s capabilities.
“Joining Ylä-Satakunta’s service model was an easy decision since all the components were already in place,” says Anna Hakama, Editor-in-Chief of Orimattilan Sanomat. “Ylä-Satakunta has an excellent understanding of local newspapers' needs. We want to serve our readers even better by offering new types of content and responding to the growing demand for mobile accessibility. A key goal is to enhance digital services and mobile platforms, ensuring news reaches readers faster than ever before.”
Jukka Huikko, CEO of Ylä-Satakunnan Sanomalehti Oy, comments, “We are pleased to expand our collaboration network to include three newspapers. This cooperation between independent publishers in system development generates immediate synergies while also opening up future opportunities.”
This expansion also marks a milestone for Anygraaf. Janne Ahramo, Solution Sales Representative at Anygraaf, states, “It is exciting to see an independent local newspaper like Ylä-Satakunta expanding its service offerings and enabling modern and efficient tools for Orimattilan Sanomat and other local newspapers.”
