A Strategic Expansion

Royal Em. de Jong is the owner of 18 newspapers, including one subscription-based newspaper. Over the course of six months, a website for each publication was launched.

With the launch of these new websites, the first step has been taken to increase engagement among the readers of Royal Em. de Jong’s print publications and online platforms.

Leveraging NEO Software for Seamless Integration

Royal Em. de Jong utilizes Anygraaf’s NEO software for editorial management, advertising administration, and content management. Despite the considerable expansion of their digital presence, the integration of 18 new websites into the publisher’s operations proceeded smoothly. NEO’s capabilities played a pivotal role in ensuring the success of the project.

A success they can be proud of. The use of NEO software greatly contributed to this achievement.

Since NEO was already being used as the editorial system for the newspapers, only minor modifications and extensions to the software were required to accommodate the new channels. The NEO CMS software comes with all the necessary functionalities for multi-channel publishing. Articles can be easily shared across various publication channels. Where needed, they can be further enriched with additional media such as photos, videos, polls, and links, rewritten, or copied to other publication channels. WYSIWYG options in the NEO software provide full control over how content will appear across different types of publications, both online and in print.

Enhanced Interactivity on the Horizon

Through NEO’s advertising administration system, Em. de Jong manages online banners and can now place advertisements with clickable links directly on the websites. The NEO reporting tools also provide valuable insights into user behavior, offering a deeper understanding of reader preferences and engagement.

In 2025, Em. de Jong plans to further enhance interactivity by allowing readers to personalize their content experience based on their interests. This will not only foster greater engagement but also open up new avenues for more precise and targeted advertising.
