With these two newspapers as well as the regional newspaper for the Lüneburg Heath, which is published in the Lüneburg district, and the advertising paper “Lünepost”, the Lüneburg Media House offers local, regional and national news and information for the approximately 450,000 people living here in an area that stretches from Buchholz in the Nordheide to Amt Neuhaus an der Elbe in the north-east of Lower Saxony.

The Lüneburg media house is founding a new newspaper: The first edition of the "Landeszeitung für die Nordheide" published on Saturday, November 2nd. The distribution area is the western district of Harburg in the south of the Hanseatic city of Hamburg. The media house already supplies the rest of the district via the daily newspaper "Winsener Anzeiger", which was acquired in the first half of the year.
