Silja Tenhunen most recently worked as content director for southern Finland Media, part of Mediatalo Keskisuomalainen.
Silja Tenhunen started in Anygraaf in the beginning of September 2020.
He has previously worked as content director for Etelä-Suomen Media, part of Mediatalo Keskisuomalainen, and was responsible for regional system development and online operations, among other things.
– The time to change work good: machine learning and artificial intelligence are also knocking on the door of media houses at a time when we know more about our readers and what works on digital channels.
– It is therefore right now worth thinking about what type of tools writers need for their work and how existing systems can be used as smartly as possible in everyday life.
In the future Tenhunen will be involved in, among other things, various customer projects in Finland and offer training in editorial departments and sales.
– I hope that in this work I can not only help customers succeed with reader engagement and digital growth, but also learn more about customers' needs and the opportunities that system development offers for this.
Tenhunen is specialized in building digital growth paths and developing work processes in various channels.
– The better the authors know about the type of content that engages readers and how they can use different channels, the more important it is to find time to create such content. It often requires prioritizing of work and abandoning the old, but also thinking of workflows together. In this way, old routines do not prevent you from achieving new goals.
That is why she is happy to help with offering training.
– For example, the content on social media and search engines can be improved with already existing tools. The same applies to increase the reading time and the frequency of visits and lower the bounce rate online.
In the future, unsurpassed help in this work will be, for example, content metadata.
– The smarter the metadata about the content is, the easier it is to build devices and long tails that serve readers online, ie a continuum of stories that is especially important in local content.
